I don't feel pregnant do you?

hey yall!! I haven't felt pregnant at all and I'm almost 11 weeks. I saw my baby two weeks ago and I know this is real but it's also scary. I've been more tired than usual and have had lower back pain. But I haven't felt sick, my boobs don't hurt, nothing!! Am I just lucky? This is my first child so I'm paranoid about a miscarriage.

  • I'm 10w5d and I was thinking to myself I don't really feel pregnant either and I used to. I had all the symptoms from nausea, tender breasts, food aversions, etc., and lately I have been feeling completely normal. I can't even feel where the baby may be and can't find the heart rate on the Doppler (although it may just be early and I'm overweight). I just had an ultrasound done on Sept 24 not even a week ago because of cramping but the baby was fine. But since then I hardly have any symptoms and where others are feeling bloated, I actually feel like I've lost some weight and that makes me nervous.

I think maybe you're probably just lucky. You may be having more symptoms than you realize but the fatigue and lower back pain could be symptoms.

  • Yeah I've had the same lower back pain since before I found out I was pregnant but it started at 2 or 3 weeks but I didn't find out I was Prego until 5 weeks. I honestly think it's a pinched nerve though and doesn't have anything to do with baby. Yes fatigue is my ONLY symptom.

  • I do pee all the time :)
  • Peeing a lot and fatigue are both good indicators. Consider yourself lucky that you don't feel like you are needing to run to the toilet to vomit all the time. Before my symptoms started going away I spent many times debating whether or not this will be the one time I hurl or if the nausea will pass on its own. So far for me it's always passed.

  • I didn't have any symptoms with DD but I felt so excited that I was constantly aware of being pregnant. This time I'm a little more nervous, I feel like I just know too much now and our niece was born with a genetic problem and it makes me so much more worried and less connected to the baby.

Same here and I'm 13 weeks. I was worried too for a while but yes, we are lucky.

  • My symptoms went away from 9-10.5weeks had the stretching/cramping for a week, then everything went away completely and I felt like my non-preg self again! Tonight at 13.5 weeks...... Stretching/cramping came back and brought a headache. Baby's doing fine.. So this is just the roller coaster of pregnancy for me.
  • Hi! I'm at 14 weeks today. Lucky to have no symptoms other than the constant need to pee and few breakout pimples. Baby bump is very small. I keep getting worried something is wrong but both ultrasounds so far have been good. Still, the not showing and no symptoms makes me feel not pregnant... Are you guys still feeling the same?
  • This is how I felt with my first. Zero symptoms and felt exactly the same. I couldn't wait to get a belly so I felt pregnant. I remember it bothering me also. Try not to worry so much about symptoms. Everyone is different. Talk to your doctor about it next time you're there. Mine was a good resource and made me feel a lot better.

  • Hehe thank you guys. One made me fell better the other made me giggle. Didn't post on another thread as don't want to rub it in... But hey I think you're in the majority group, so don't feel bad. First time mummy and glad to have this chat room! My fav has to be the baby brain stories! Too funny!! :)
  • Just know that you're lucky and I hate you (just kidding...kinda).

I'm 15 weeks and 4 days and I still don't feel pregnant. I have a tiny bump but not super noticeable to other people yet. I don't have many symptoms - never got morning sickness, I do have to pee a little more often and I get tired more easily than that but so far I just don't feel pregnant either. I'm hoping one I feel the baby kick that'll help.

I'm 14 weeks - my first OB appointment I assumed I was 7 or 8 weeks pregnant and ended up being 12 weeks!  Imagine my surprise to find out I was almost out of my 1st trimester with almost no symptoms at all!
The worst of my symptoms have been just being very tired and once or twice I had a day where I just didn't feel much like eating, or I felt "funny" about food.  And, of course, having to pee all day!
I know how awful it can be for some women, so I'm just trying to enjoy these minimal symptoms as much as possible and cross my fingers the rest of the pregnancy breezes by. :-)

  • I felt very pregnant in the first trimester, because I had a constant seasick feeling and food aversions. But somewhere around week 12, my nausea and food aversions went away.

Now I almost feel too normal to be pregnant, which has me a little worried and anxiously counting down until my next OB appointment.

But as strange as it sounds, I've started getting indigestion (burping/hiccuping) which reassures me that I am still very pregnant.

Do people still look at this? I don't want to start a fresh thread knowing this one's already here... But I hit 16 weeks tomorrow. Thing is, this pregnancy's had problems since day one. Two days ago, I found out my levels were way lower than they should have been. All my symptoms have gone away, which is a drastic change from being on bedrest. I still haven't gained weight. Everything is back to the way it was pre-pregnancy, and it's really worrying me. I don't have another u/s until the end of the month, but I'm really worried and wish I had even just a doppler to make sure they're still okay! :-S
  • I would request an us or Doppler appointment Asap due to your dropped levels!!!!

    THIS.

I listen with my doppler at home every few days just because. At 16 weeks they should be able to check with a doppler easily to put your mind at ease.
