Since it's now the third trimester and this hasn't really been discussed lately, I'll add my two cents.
It was discovered last Friday at 33 weeks that I have a complete previa by my amniotic specialist. I saw my regular OB today and she said I'm definitely looking at a c section as baby is already head down and 5lbs (very little room for movement). She reassured me that as long as I take the pelvic rest seriously, I should be fine as I've had no bleeding thus far. I was told to go to L&D immediately if I have any bleeding (including spotting) or contractions as going into labor could be dangerous.
Make a list of questions and discuss it in detail with your OB. My first was born vaginally at 38 weeks so I made sure to cover what would happen if I went into labor early or had any bleeding. If you have concerns about a c section (pain meds, recovery, etc) make sure to discuss it now.
