Every single ultrasound pic is a picture of a naked child. Apparently, some are okay and some aren't. I best read the guidelines again (which by the way mention "gender guessing"). That was another thread where a person got attacked because she said "gender" reveal instead of "sex" reveal and "gender" is used in the damn guidelines! Lol!
This site is a joke. I'm out.

I'm going to approach this topic from a slightly different angle, based on my professional experience and training... There are some real wackos out there. Wackos who get off on looking at pictures of naked children and babies. Whose fantasies about tiny genitals could potentially be fed by a mere fuzzy black and white of your unborn angel's "potty shot." This is the perfect type of site for pedophiles and molesters to lurk. Always be on guard about what you post of yourself (think hdbd pics in your undies), your unborn babies, and your children. You never know who is watching and where your pictures are ending up. Once they hit the Internet, they don't belong to you anymore. Rant Over.

That doesn't make any sense...posting a pic of your child from the waist up or even a body shot where no privates are showing I thought was common sense that this is the only thing that's acceptable. Is it not common sense that posting a picture of anyone's vagIna or penis is socially and morally wrong?????
I do understand her point that all ultrasound pictures are "naked." I get what she's trying to say. But there's a big, obvious difference between a silhouette and a specific outline of genitals. If someone can't see that difference, there's nothing more to talk about.
Silhouette shots don't normally give away the sex of the child when it comes to ultrasounds. I think the main idea here is that it isn't appropriate to post pictures of genitals. Unborn or not. Period. It's inappropriate and as mentioned numerous times in other boards not something this community in general finds cute. If you can't agree with that, PP made a scary but very good point that these pictures are forever on the Internet and we live in a world with people who may use photos of that nature inappropriately. As a mother I can't get behind being responsible for a photo of my unborn child's genitals getting into the hands of someone who would use it in a perverted way nor do I believe strangers should care about my child's genitalia.
I love reading these responses. They crack me up. We are happy that our baby hid her parts when they took the pictures for us, no crotch shots allowed and she knows it already!
Perhaps you should take your own advice if that's how you truly feel? I didn't see an opinion on the sex in your comment.
ETA - it's rather rude to tell a forum to shut up because you disagree with an opinion.
We did give our opinion. Our opinion is that posting pictures of your child's genitals is unnecessary, gross, and possibly dangerous. You just don't like the opinion.
We did give our opinions. Not one of them was rude. But you telling people to shut up is rude. You posted a crotch shot on a forum that states specifically no crotch shots... What would you like? A cookie?
Mmmm cookies!!!
Edited: grammar. Because it's clearly lacking elsewhere.
