Cora: What do you think?

Cora is a name I am very interested in lately. What do you think? It is the name of the mom on Downton Abbey and also in Last of the Mohicans.

I do like "old-fashioned" named that are not in the top 100.

This is for baby #3 with older brothers Nathan and Walter.

Honestly, it's NMS, but it's gotten super popular lately - I think I now have 4 people on FB with kids named Cora - so obviously it appeals the some if not the majority.

I like it. I have heard it more recently, but its still not in the top 100 so I wouldn't worry about there being a ton of little Cora's running around. Pretty and easily recognized/pronounced.

Friend named her little girl Cora and she's adorable and sweet so I associate the name with a cute little girl. It's s solid name

I think it's an adorable name! I think Cora and Nora are definitely gaining popularity, but I only know 2 Coras (on fb) and 0 Noras. I teach in an elementary school and the name doesn't feel overdone, but I wonder if that will be the case in 5-7 years.

I like it. It was my great grandma's name and my mom's middle. I didn't use because our last name is short and starts with c so it made it sing - songy

I don't dislike it per se. It's just a little plain to me. But certainly not side eye worthy and if it's your style then go for it! I do know someone who named her baby Cora and she got a lot of compliments on the name, so maybe it's just me.
