I got found out I was pregnant in April and lost the baby on April 18th at 5 weeks. Since then I have had only 1 period that was induced with Provera - I have PCOS but have always had a monthly cycle. I haven't had a period since June so I'm about 13 weeks late...my Dr. has prescribed me provera but I'm just so upset and emotional. I just don't know what to do! To first lost a child and then to have my cycles all screwed up...everywhere I've read says that your periods are supposed to go right back to normal after a chemical pregnancy and mine just haven't. I'm starting on metformin again also but I'm not sure if any of this will help me...could my miscarriage have made my PCOS worst? I'm just not sure what to do. I'm going to make an appointment with my Dr. but I honestly just feel so lost right now.
I'm so sorry for your losses. Mine wasn't a chemical pregnancy but a MMC that resulted in a D&C and similarly I am not 12.5 weeks out and still no AF. So you aren't alone. I am waiting two weeks and if still no AF or BFP then will go one progesterone. So frustrating!
Re: No periods after chemical pregnancy...is this normal?
Sorry for your loss!
