As a hat tip to the gazillions of drive by posts we get here on M16, I thought we'd do a drive by edition of a GTKY!

That is, what is your dream car and why?

Audi Q7. My brother works for Audi and let me test drive one of these bad boys once and it was like driving a cloud. Whatever that means.

Since we're a family of 7 currently I have to stick with the large SUVs. We currently have the GMC Yukon XL but if I could go grab a 2016 off a lot, Lord knows I would in a heartbeat!
And yes, red for UGA!

I actually love the vehicle I have now- A Jeep Patriot.  We upgraded last year when my little aveo went kaput, and we knew then that an infant car seat wouldn't fit in the back.  My BIL works for the local Jeep dealer and he got us into a brand spanking new one.  I love it, and its 4 WHEEL DRIVE- a necessity living in NNY!

I love my Tahoe but if I could have anything it would be a 2016 fully loaded Yukon XL.

Yeah I'd take either the Yukon or Acadia Denalis pleeaaaseeeee santa. Any color will do, I'm not picky!

The Acadia is actually my next "realistic" dream car. Maybe not with the Denali upgrade but a girl can dream.

Okay. Dream car, not at all realistic, and terrible brakes. But here it is. An '85 Pontiac Firebird T-top convertible in jet black with the decal on the hood. Flip-up headlights. It's perfect.

Really torn between the first two though.

@flowerpower5838 you stole my dream car! Love Audi's and I drool when I see the suv's. *sigh*

I guess my "realistic" and probably next dream car is going to be the Subaru forrester. DH has a Tahoe and we don't like the idea of having matching cars. Love it's all terrain utility and safety now that I'll have an extra passenger on board.


Irresponsible dream cars are already in garage. Restoration on my '67 Firebird is probably on hold until I go back to work full time. and no more modifications are allowed on the Camaro period.

I used to love the Audi Q7, but when I got into one, I was sorely disappointed at how small inside it was. But I was also disappointed by the Porshe SUVs, so maybe I just have unrealistic expectations.

Fun dream car would be a '67 Shelby Mustang -- Eleanor from Gone in 60 Seconds

Probably never going to happen, much more practical though, is a Volvo xc90

I would love to ditch my 03 Chevy Malibu and get a new Honda Pilot. After this baby is born, I will only have room for one passenger with having two car seats in the back seat I also hate that I have no trunk space when my jogging stroller is in it (which is all the time).

Yes indeed, a self-driving car. I cannot WAIT for this technology to sweep the world. I have a long commute in the mornings and I am dying to be able to nap, read, whatever during it instead of fighting Honolulu traffic. I, for one, welcome our robot overlords.

I've never been a huge car person, if it gets me from A to B I'm usually happy I have a RAV4 and I love it but I want to play this game so I would upgrade to a Lexus RX350 or a Mercedes SUV of some kind. Actually no, a big Range Rover. Yeaaaah!

I love my subaru so no complaints, but when the kids are gone, I'm getting a sporty coup, something sapphire blue that has enough room for me and hubby and a hand full of groceries but makes up for the lack of space with hp. Maybe it will purrrr

I'd love an old classic muscle car like a Mustang! Or an old VW Bug. Not practical but fun! I've just always liked them.

Hands down I've always wanted a volk'SWAG'en beetle! Everyone makes fun of me for it, but I'm obsessed. They're cute, efficient (in my eyes), and I'd look like the coolest kid on the block blasting my alanis morissette album driving down the highway with it. Doesn't matter new or old I love all of' em. My Kia Sorento will have to do for now though.

I always wanted one too!  To be worse I wanted a red one and paint black dots on it, put a black bra on the front and make a lady bug!
