So I had the d and c 3 weeks ago. I went for my follow up on Monday and my OB did a blood test. He messaged me last night and said my level was 9000 and he'd recommended another test in a week. My question is what does 9000 mean. Is that kinda high at this point. Thank you in advance!

Yes 9000 is probably your hcg level. It could mean you are still holding on to tissue. He probably just wants to make sure it goes down. It can take a while for the levels to drop especially if you had a missed miscarraige. Sorry for your loss.

My hcg level was 30,000+ when I found out I had miscarried. It has been almost 6 weeks since my D&C, and just in the past week or so the lines on my home pregnancy tests have started to get fainter. It takes awhile for the hormones to get out of your bloodstream. I'm hoping in the next couple weeks my hcg will be back to zero.
