Well you know what they say, if it seems too good to be true, it probably is.
I started light bleeding Monday and went to the ER Wednesday afternoon. We saw a baby with a flicker measuring one day behind at 6w2d but the heart rate was low. We did leave feeling reassured. Thursday afternoon, I started heavy bleeding and my OB said I was likely going to MC due to low heart rate. She suggested I go back to ER for follow up ultrasound and possible D&C. Ultrasound Thursday night showed no pregnancy, and I was told I likely had a natural MC before getting to the ER, and no D&C was necessary. In hindsight, I knew it happened earlier in the day, and I wish I would have just stayed home. The added trauma of a second ER experience was unnecessary.
I am looking forward to getting back to temping and charting, and this board has provided a ton of support even just from a mostly lurker's perspective. We plan to TTC again after I get my first AF post-loss, and I will be back here mostly lurking until I can participate in the WTO again. We did share with a handful of friends and ILs that we were PG, so we have had to break the news to others. But the support has been really great as we feel like we only told people who we knew would support us. I am sad however that I have hurt my ILs as well, even though they say they were honored to have it shared with them in the first place. We have a couple of trips coming up that provide something really cool to look forward to, so I am hoping the transition back is smooth for DH and me. He has been so wonderful.
I always look forward to seeing more BFPs around and I wish that for every one of you ladies! I hope I am still welcome here, even though I am now lurking a couple of new boards too.

So sorry about your loss. You mention you're sad you hurt your in-laws... you need to know that you have NOTHING to feel guilty about. This was not your (or anyones) fault and you didn't do anything to cause it. Let your in-laws support you as you need it. Hugs!

@jsassy I'm so sorry for your loss. I've also been lurking here after leaving April 2016 BMB and thought your name looked familiar. I am crossing everything and sending positive thoughts your way that your rainbow baby will come soon. Please feel free to PM me if you want to chat. Sounds like we're going through some similar stuff.
