Dont feel pregnant

Hello all,
Im 17 weeks and ivr always had a flabby tummy. I dont feel pregant and no movements yet. My next scan is the 8th September. Im so confused if i should just wait to see a doc.

At 17 weeks you're unlikely to feel proper definite fetal movements, especially if this is your first baby. It's also the time when the symptoms of the first trimester wind down, so you might be feeling pretty normal! I felt exactly like this and it's very common. Remember once you get past 12 weeks you're really unlikely to miscarry, so try not to worry. If you're very worried make an appointment with your GP and they might be able to find the baby's heartbeat to reassure you. Best of luck x

Just ftr, I'm transitioning into third tri (26 weeks) and still don't feel pregnant either. My belly is small and while my son kicks all the time, I've otherwise felt completely normal this entire pregnancy. Your baby will likely start kicking around eventually but seventeen weeks is still early enough that not feeling anything yet is well within the range of normal.

People experience pregnancy differently from one another and I'm sure you have nothing to worry about.

OP, if your doctor says everything is fine it is fine. Also, this question is asked very frequently and I recommend searching to see that you are not the only one, and also so that we don't need to answer the same question dozens of times. Congratulations on your pregnancy.

I'm 17 weeks also, and still haven't felt movement nor do I have a proper bump yet. I'm a FTM as well. Since going into my second trimester I've also had a decrease of symptoms (nausea, sore boobs, lethargy) and feel great now. Just try to take a deep breath and reassure yourself that baby is doing fine. I know it's hard not to worry, but before long they'll be kicking the crap out of us and driving us crazy with it.
