Still have hcg #s weeks later

i had a d&c July 2nd at 7.5 weeks pregnant.
It's now been 6 weeks and I'm still getting hcg results in my blood. Is this normal to take this long to drop?

Ps if I see another pregnancy announcement for when I was due I might cry my face off

I'm so sorry for your loss. And It's very hard to hear those announcements. *hugs*

Did you have a natural miscarriage or was it induced with drugs or a D/C? With D&Cs it's drops more quickly than something like methotrexate.

Has your dr said anything about the possibility of a molar pregnancy?

I had a natural miscarriage on 6/13, confirmed by my doc on 6/17. I did not have a d&c. My hcg levels were continually dropping, but it took just over 9 weeks to get a negative result.
