How long until I get period again?

I had my d&c seven weeks ago tomorrow. I still don't have my period. How long have some of you waited?

I've heard the upper limit of normal is about 8 weeks but I haven't personally gone through it. I'd give it another week and then ask your doctor. Also is there any chance you're pregnant again? You will ovulate before your first period so it doesn't happen that often but it's possible to get pregnant again without ever having a period in between. I hope you get it soon though, the waiting for our bodies to get back to normal to me just seems to keep me stuck emotionally as well.

Looks like for most it returns between 4 and 8 weeks though for some it takes months. After 2 months I'd definitely contact the dr and let them know. I was fortunate that mine returned 33 days after d&c.

I am almost positive I'm not pregnant. We have been very careful because my dr recommended waiting 2 cycles. I just want to get my period so I can start over and feel normal again. I have been feeling PMS symptoms for weeks!! I'm getting nervous that I haven't gotten it yet.

I am sorry, I had an early loss back in October that didn't require a procedure, it took 40 days to get my period back and I just had a second loss and a d & c at 12 weeks on 8-5 and I am wondering how long it will take as well. My cycle is irregular and my dr also told me to wait 2 cycles and I am 37 so I don't want to wait too long to try again..
