Can you pump with a specific brand of pump into a different branded bottle or liner? For example, can you use a medela pump and pump into Playtex drop in liners?

I have the madela pump in style and pump into the kiinde storage bags. Kiinde makes pieces that adapt to most pumps for their bags.
