Babies are definitely a lot of work, but we definitely plan on having another. Not really sure when - my husband and I are both currently doctoral students, so it would be nice to be nearly finished before trying again (maybe waiting until next fall before trying again) but we're also doing natural family planning so it may be sooner! Haha
We were using NFP as well and that is how we unexpectedly ended up with this LO - the best, most awesome surprise ever though
Haha, that's how we ended up with our LO as well! Our "blessing" baby, who I wouldn't trade for the world! (Though hopefully she isn't followed by many more surprises -- I like to think we have some control in NFP, at least in terms of the timing :P haha)
We haven't decided yet. This is our only child right now. I am turning 37 next month and he is 32. While I'm not crazy old, I don't want to be 60 something at my youngest child's high school graduation. So if we do have more, it's gotta be soon. And I'm truly leaning towards no more kids. He wants more, so we'll have to have a serious talk or two before we decide.
I am done.. Bitter sweet. I get pre eclampsia during pregnancy, with my first it was get bad. Second it was bad, but maintained. (I had an idiot for a doctor who decided to wait and see if I got HELLP syndrome again before he would do the c section) and then this one.. I had hyperemesis in the beginning which was tough but not to dangerous. The 16 weeks to 35 was perfect. I even thought about not getting my tubes tied and having another eventually.. Until I got pre e over night. Woke up puking the morning of June 25th, was sick all day, bp was elevated. Then that evening I was being rushed to the hospital, and she was in my arms that night. My factory is shut down and I'm counting my blessings! I was told at 18 I would never have kids, and God gave me 3 beautiful girls!
I'm 20 and I have a boy and now I have a girl I still want more ! So does my husband lol I wish I can be blessed with twins (it runs in both our families)
