AF after D&C

So I had my first miscarriage and a D&C on July 24, went to the doctor yesterday and was told that my Hcg levels were negative. I started spotting today and was just wondering if this was likely af? I don't know what to expect right nowandany help would be apappreciated! Thanks.

I would think it's unlikely. I was told you shouldn't have any flow for at least 20 days before it would be a period. Is it brown spotting or red? With both of my d&c so I had brown spotting after 2 weeks - both several days after the bleeding had stopped.

Yesterday it was red today is brown. I'm mostly just confused.

I had my D&C on July 8th and got AF 30 days later. I had brown spotting and theny period started. I had also read that you had to have no bleeding for 20 days but obviously that wasn't the case for me.

I had a natural miscarriage and then started spotting 7 days after I had stopped bleeding.
It then evolved and turned into heavy bleeding with clots.
I contacted the EPU and the midwife advised me to take a HPT. If negative, it is my period. If positive, it is the miscarriage and would need intervention.
The test was negative.
I started spotting the day I would have been due on which is so strange but the nurses at the EPU are sure that it's my AF.
