So frustrated. Where's my period???

I got my bfn on Monday and stopped the crinone (progesterone) and estrogen I was taking. They said my period should come in a few days but if not there by Friday to call. It's Friday and still no period. Where is it??? The one time I want it. They want me to come in tomorrow I think to check levels and look for a cyst. On cd 23 I didn't have a cyst so even if I do now could it cause my period to be delayed that fast?? I'm still getting chunks of the crinone coming out here and there TMI sorry but wondering if it's all still in there preventing my levels from dropping.

I feel your pain.  I am also waiting for AF.   I've been going around humming "the waiting is the hardest part" (tom petty song).   hope yours comes today or else they figure out why it's not coming tomorrow!

I understand how frustrating that can be. At least you can be investigated now to find out why! Did you get your BFN with an HPT or a beta blood test? I don't want to illicit false hope, but is it possible you got a false negative?

What causes your period is a drop in both estrogen and progesterone, so if the extra progesterone is taking its time leaving your system, that could very well delay your period. Also, that extra progesterone that you take can actually cause a cyst, so it's definitely a possibility. I'd call and let them check out out. You may just be losing progesterone slowly, but better to know that.

@KareChristine I hope you get AF soon

@riveridgional I got my BFN from both a hpt and a beta blood test.  My IUI was on a Saturday..the hpt was 2 weeks 1 day later (sunday and the beta was that monday)

@jnissa thanks..I know the nurse said it takes some people longer than others for their levels to drop and I am really hoping I don't have a cyst but we should find out tomorrow

@rachlee2010 I hope today's the day. You have been waiting too long and I want you to be close to my August IUI so we can wait together. I'm selfish, I know.

@AMT&THC I want to be near you too. Now that I have an appointment with the dr made in hoping it will finally show up. I'm not going in to the dr until Monday so hopefully this weekend she makes her appearance

My RE "batches" the IVF cycles each month...I was supposed to start IVF this week:( but my period took about 2 1/2 weeks longer than it should of and now I have to wait until 9/11....so frustrating when you are sad every other month when you don't want to see AF, but the one time you are like "bring it on" she's a no show:(  Hope everything checks out ok and AF comes soon!

I'm very new at the ivf thing so please don't cyber slap me for my question lol. But do we need to get our period in order to start ivf. Like what needs to happen to get this thing started? We have our appointment Friday to talk with the doctor but I'm anxious to gather info ahead of time

I'm sorry you still haven't gotten it. How frustrating!! I am used to my periods not coming/being irregular. I bet it's even more frustrating when you are regular. Fx it comes soon.
