i was wondering if 12-14 days post iui would be ok to home test. I know it's not advised but the 2ww has got me batty. Maybe because it's my first time.
14 days should be fine for sure. Each person processes the shot differently and it would depend on your dose whether you should test before 14 days. My husband and I just wanted to see what a positive test looked like so I tested about 6 days after. It was definitely still in my system. I tested again 13 dpo (couldn't hold out any longer) and it was negative on a first response. I don't know what dose my shot was. One of husband's friends tested hers out with a bunch of cheapie and it was out of her system by day 12.
I guess my advice would be to try and wait it out as close to 14 dpo as possible so you don't get a false positive. Otherwise, if you test and get a positive, I would try to assume it's a false positive and not get too excited until day 14.

Re: How long does HSG stay in your system after an Ovidrel shot?
