I'm a plumber and work with all sorts of different chemicals. Does anyone have any idea of do's and donts for my work life?

My best advice is to use the hell out of personal protective equipment. Gloves, masks, respirators, etc. Your employer should provide reasonable accommodations to allow you to do your job safely. If you are self-employed then dont skimp on ppe. Definitely consult your doctor to decide which chemicals are absolute no-gos and which can be accommodated.
