Just for fun- favorite maternity clothes/looks

I'm curious what maternity clothes/styles everyone likes or has found. This is my second winter baby, so for casual wear I will be LIVING in leggings with boots (with tops covering my butt I promise- I know that was a big discussion last week) and these dresses which I got to have dressier/work clothes and that I ripped off from Kate Middleton's maternity style lol:

I love that second dress and totally agree about leggings and boots. I am very grateful to be in maternity clothes in fall/winter for that reason.  I plan on wearing a lot of this look in first pic (except definitely flat boots). Also love the drapey top in this second pic with ankle boots.

  • My favorite look is all the clearance winter maternity clothes I bought a month ago. From a pair a skinny jeans to a really cute sweater. I'm excited to wear them!

  • I got a TON of pants from my cousin. She had her baby in march so the only real maternity things she had to buy were for winter (she loves sun dresses so those got her into spring since this year was super warm in the spring). I also have to wear pants for work (no jeans which is pretty much what she gave me all of) so I bought 3 pairs of pants. I bought the cargo ones in black and grey (they also roll up to be capris) and the linen ones in cream. https://www.motherhood.com/mobile/Product.asp?Product_Id=99327Z10291&MasterCategory_Id=MC27

Once it gets cooler, I'm definitely jumping on the fleece lined leggings and long sweaters and boots bandwagon.
  • Leggings and skinny jeans with sweaters and tunics. Can't wait!!

  • In Vegas I can still wear shorts and flip flops till December. So my favorites will be dresses with kimonos. When it gets too cold...
jeans, flowy tops and blazers... If I'm bigger, probably tight tops because they look better.

Also I got this pencil dress from Old Navy, so cute! I can't wait to rock that soon.
  • I'm a leggings skinny jeans with tall boots kinda girl too. I did just spurge on a maxi from a pea in the pod as well. They are also having a sale online for some of their designer denim so I just stocked up on them, bogo, can't beat that!
  • Leggings and dresses as it gets colder, but my most favorite maternity piece I own is my maternity yoga pants.. LOVE! Too bad I can't wear them to work lol

I've been looking at maternity clothes online and bought one pair of low panel jeans (in store) that I love. The trouble is that low panel is sooooo hard to find. On the Motherhood store website there I've only found about 4 pairs and only 1 in my size (this is the pair I have). On Old navy there is 3 pairs in my size but are more expensive than the nice Motherhood ones! I was curious how you ladies feel about the full panel jeans as that looks like my only option at the moment and anything is better than my regular pants right now.
  • I don't like low panel, I love full panel pants! They keep everything smooth. Lol
  • I originally bought full panel. The only pair of low panel pants I have is one I was given. The full panel helps the pants stay up for me since I'm a curvy girl and low panel don't sit over my hips tight enough to hold them up.

The thing I'm worried about with the full panel is that it will be really tight at the top and give me a bulge up there. I guess I will get some to try and return if I don't like it.
  • Gap was having a 40% off online sale yesterday and I found some great tees and jeans (low panels). Excited for them to arrive! The code I used was "cool" if it doesn't appear for anyone.

I got a pair of ripped boyfriend jeans on ASOS that I'm living in atm! I love that they don't look maternity! I also like tight jersy dresses. So comfy and kinda makes my little belly look more pregnant!
  • Last pregnancy, I liked the low panel in the beginning and the full panel towards the end. I felt like the low waist dug into my belly the last month or so. I have both left from last time and will probably buy one or two pair of nicer pants this time around for work.
  • I have been looking for a cute plaid dress that isn't belted around the waist for our fall maternity/family pics !!! My son and husband always wear matching plaid and I go with a solid color but I want to rock a plaid maternity dress this year, well, because I just do!! If any of you ladies happen to see one anywhere please lmk! Other than that I've been wearing my normal clothes and looking like I have a bit of a beer gut going on, hopefully will round up soon :(( hahaha!

I will say I went to Motherhood Maternity a few days ago just to get some wireless bras because I feel like I can't breath lately lol .. They had $5 tees so I bought 5 different colors and have been wearing my belly band under them that I bought when I was pregnant with my son! I love it because I can wear my same jeans through out the whole pregnancy (majority of it anyways) and it just looks like a layered tank top but my pants are so unbuttoned and I can breath ;)
  • Leggings and boots outside of work. At work, dresses and leggings or dress pants and sweaters or cardigans. Cardigans are awesome for hot flashes you get during last tri!

Mod cloth has some cute ones
ETA they aren't maternity but I got away with regular dresses for a long time last time I was pregnant since a lot of them are roomy

I found the opposite to be true. The low panel cut into my side/back fat. The full panels came up to my bra almost and smoothed everything out
  • In the beginning, I always folded the panel on my full panel jeans down like yoga pants - very comfy and smoothed out any muffin top situations. Then I got a Bump and my belly button would bother me if it rubbed on my clothes so I brought up the panel.

Tried on This outfit yesterday at motherhood complete with maternity skinny jeans. I LOVED it. Didn't buy it but wished I did. It's perfect for our winters here. The shirt is a little long because my belly isn't poking that far out yet, but I've always been a cardigan girl and am pretty sure I still will be

    That is super cute!!!!

  • I'm basically dreading shopping for maternity clothes. My last baby was July and so I lived in multiple maxi dresses. At some point I hated leggings, I don't remember when. But I'm a HS teacher so I will have to make something appropriate work. It will most likely be leggings, boots, and long shirt dresses with cardigans. But it's always super hot in my building, even in the winter. So I doubt I'll ever wear anything more then short sleeves.
  • I loved the low panal last time but this time anything touching my stomach makes it hurt and makes me feel nauseous X(
  • Gap has good low panel pants and jeans- tried the side panel though and they don't stay up on me. Can't bring myself to get full panel in this 100+ Texas heat
