Same name, same generation

ok, this is a weird situation. My Step-cousin is pregnant, and actually due a day before me. And even more weird, we both love the same baby girl name! This is a complete coincidence.

My question is, would it be weird for both of us to use the name? She is my step moms neice, and I haven't actually seen her in years (although we talk often on Facebook). She finds out what she's having today and i find out in Friday, so it could be a moot point, but I'm wondering if this is concussed uncouth?

I haven't actually talked to her about it, except that I love the name as well!

I say if you never talk and she's a distant relative go for it. If you love the name I think it's fine

I agree. If you don't interact that much then you should choose the name that you like no matter what!

It's funny she just announced that she's having a girl, but her baby daddy doesn't like it, so maybe it won't be an issue!

If the name is fairly common I would have no issue using it as well.
