I keep on waking up at around 2:30 and struggling to get back to sleep. Anyone else having sleeping issues? Could it bd the body preparing us for having a baby and having to wake up for night feeds?
I've had a total of 6-7 hours of sleep in the past 3 days.
This is getting ridiculous.
I knew it would happen though. I had the same with DS, only it wasn't quite as bad. I got more sleep after he was born than I did in the last month of the pregnancy.
I've been getting up at night and can't get back to sleep, as well! I get hungry at like 3am! It's ridiculous. It must be the baby warning me that he'll be hungry at 3 every night when he's born. Lol
Yep! I wake between 2-3 and am usually awake anywhere between 1-3 hours. Haha luckily right now I'm not working and am planning to be a SAHM, so at the moment I get to sleep in all I want haha.
I am awake about every two hours or so to go pee or because I'm having hip or back pain. Sometimes I can go right back to sleep, but other times I'm up for at least 30 minutes.
I'm not sure if I would consider it "getting ready for night feedings", but I do know I got more and better sleep with both of my DSs as newborns than I have ever gotten in all 3 of my third trimesters. It totally sucks, but the end is near!
Yes! I came on to search if anyone else had posted an insomnia thread & here it was at the top of the list!! Yes this is me! I have been awake since 4am & couldn't get back to sleep, previous night awake until 3am & then managed 3 hours sleep, I'm not worrying or anything, I just literally cannot fall to sleep & if I wake in the night that's me done, although I'd rather lie & do nothing then get up & start doing housework at 2am! Thank God for my kindle! xx

Kudos to you for thinking to use the search function and posting in an already existing thread instead of starting two more with the exact same topic.
Ive started drinking Third Tri-mester tea or chamomile tea before bed and I sleep so much better! I do wake up to go pee but the sleep between that is much better!
I have been waking up to pee every. Single. Hour. Seriously. I see every hour on the clock as I pass it on my way to the bathroom. Needless to say, I'm turning into a miserable, cranky lady!!! I haven't been able to find anything that keeps me sleeping through the night and I'm ready to lose my mind.
I've been going to bed around midnight every night and the last two days I've waken up at 230 and then 330 and not being able to fall asleep until midnight again. It doesn't help that my SO snores and I find it very aggravating so I try to sleep in another room! I hope this passes!!
