34.3 weeks 50% effaced

So i had my appt today, been having mild contractions nothing too serious. Had my cervix check and was at 50% effaced and not dilated at all today. He said that baby could come at any time. Of course i want him to cook longer. My first child my water broke at 28 weeks and i was able to keep him in till 30 weeks. He came at 3lbs 14oz 15.5 inches long. My doctor said this baby is over 6lbs and is not too worried since baby is "measuring on the bigger side". So what my post is about is im just super happy i made it pass when i delivered my first child. But, my doctor is pretty positive i will not make it to term. So fingers crossed i can hopefully keep him in till at least 37 weeks!
