So I turned 37 weeks on Monday (or baby did) and I swear it's like overnight, baby grew in all directions! My stomach feels stretched to capacity, I can no longer bend at the waist without huge discomfort and because baby's head down, I'm feeling the pressure on my bladder AND the kicks in my ribs. I guess my torso isn't as long as I thought

I am 36+5. I've had the pressure on my hips and bladder for a while but yesterday I swear my stomach grew 10 times what it normally is. I'm a hot, waddling mess.

I'm with you there! I feel like just getting up from the sitting position is too much at times. Oh and that pressure, so you feel like you have to turn over 12 times a night, which is hard but painful if you don't!

OMG do you find that you're "rocking" yourself to get up, like a turtle?? I found myself doing this yesterday and DH just looked at me and busted out laughing..

soooo with all you ladies! between my tummy growth, the hip pain, "turtle on back" syndrome, the heat and humidity, I am just soooo ready to be 40 weeks haha! I have to remind myself how happy I am that baby reminds me he/she is well and growing healthy and strong; keep up the good work ladies

Right there with you!!!!!!!! How big is baby measuring? I just had my 37 week ultrasound today...she is about 5lbs 13 oz but dang I thought she'd be bigger !!!!

Thank goodness I'm not the only one. I felt like I was doing so well and being so patient throughout this pregnancy. I'll be 38 weeks Saturday and I feel like I've hit a wall! Suddenly everything is just hard and my patience is waning. I could hardly tie my shoes at the gym the other day, I can't get up without grunting, and I'm always HOT. Do they make us this uncomfortable so that we will actually start looking forward to labor?? So glad this is the home stretch!

36+1 and as of the past 3 days ive been dying of discomfort. I cant even put the feeling into words or pinpoint an exact source but i just groan all the time now! Baby is already 7 lbs and loves to push on my lungs

@candicejeff2013 I'm not sure as I haven't had a growth scan yet. But I'm sure he/she is on target (fundal height is measuring spot on, last check baby was measuring average size). It just feels like he/she is waaaay bigger, haha!

@noobmama83 I think your theory may be right! Sooooo glad we're almost there. Time is flying even if we feel like we're at a standstill

@atthemoment omg! 7 lbs and still got time to grow some more?! Do big babies run in your family?

Very heavy and uncomfortable. Babys already 7 ish lbs. At least time goes forward.

YES me too! It's like all of a sudden she's reached capacity. I have no tummy stretch marks yet but I feel like I could wake up tomorrow morning with a belly full at this rate! Geez
