Ovarian Hyperstimulation Syndrome

Hello Ladies,
I went in for my egg retrivel today where 19 eggs where retrieved.
But every since I've got back I've had very painful sharpe pains
Nasusa it hurts when I take deep breaths.
And it's extremely painful when I tried to pee
(sorry tmi)
I've googled it and found that it could be Ovarian Hyperstimulation Syndrome
Only thing that makes me think other wise is it says it starts a few days after retrivel and my systoms are already here
I really don't wanna take a trip to the ER if it's not needed
What do you ladies think?

Also my stomach is bloated and feels hard

With 19 eggs retrieved you will definitely have bloating. I had 13 retrieved and it hurt to pee for 5 days or so. Call your RE's office this morning and tell them how you are feeling. Mine wanted me to monitor my weight everyday and if I gained more than 2lbs I had to call right away. The nausea could be from the anesthesia that they used. But you can never be to cautious so I would call your RE today and tell them how your feeling. Good luck!

I had 20 eggs retrieved and had major bloating, cramping, tightness in my chest, etc. about 8 days after the retrieval. I went to my dr. and was diagnosed with OHSS. I'm still suffering from it. I would highly suggest you get to the dr ASAP. In the mean time, drink pleanty of Gatorade! Hang in there! This is rough and I havent moved far from my couch in the last four days. I've been told it just takes time for your ovaries to shrink back to size and it could potentially take longer to heal if you are in fact prego. Good luck!
