Hey ladies, so I am 37 weeks pregnant and out on maturnity leave. Dose anyone have any tips on how to make extra money while out on leave? I have heard some people sell items on ebay which is a good idea but I'm open to all ideas. Thanks!
I'm a fan of ebay; however if that isn't your thing you would be amazed how much you can save just by finding ways to cut back. Some things to look at: cable bill (can you cut down to a lower plan or eliminate it altogether and then use Netflix or something), cell phone bills (can you cut back on your plan and/or combine your plans), coffee/eating out, home phone (if you have one, can you get rid of it and go to Magic Jack), can you share trash pick up with a neighbor if you pay for your pick ups?, can you clip more coupons? swap to generic brands for some groceries and toiletries, eliminate things like getting your nails done if you do that....
I'd say your best bet would be to cut back on expenses, like @Miz_Liz suggested. Meal planning can help a lot! But if you have a talent for making things, (i.e. Sewing, knitting, crocheting, painting, jewelry, etc...) you could try making and selling items on Etsy.com. There are lots of relatively easy things you could make and sell. You could even get ideas from Pinterest, lol.

@Miz_Liz had some amazing advice as usual & I would suggest the same
I have a fig tree and a blueberry bush that I let people come and pick figs or blueberries off of for a small price. In the fall I pick up pecans off the ground from my pecan tree. Pecans are expensive and people will pay a lot for them. You probably don't have any of that in your backyard so what @Miz_Liz said
I do art which I sell, I plan on keeping up with that for extra cash during mat leave. I had a friend who started making stuffed animal rattles while she was on mat leave and began selling them to friends and family.. So maybe take up some sort of hobby that you could sell for a bit of extra money?
