Which Breast Pump Would You Use/Recommend?

My insurance company offers several pumps, but I am struggling to find helpful reviews.

-Medela Pump in Style Advanced Breast Pump- Starter set
Ameda Purely Yours Ultra Personal Double Electric Breast Pump

I have been reading lots of reviews but am struggling to find any that are helpful!

There are several threads on this if you use the search box.

Most people will say Medela because it has been around forever. I ordered the spectra and I am pretty impressed.

I have always used the Medela pump with all 4 of my kids & it works great for me

Medela Pump in Style works fine and it is easy to get replacementbparts and custom shields on Amazon if you need a different size.

All of the moms at my old job had Medela pumps. Fortunately the milk cooler bags come with a pocket for a name label so we didn't mix them up in the fridge.

I had the double electric last time. This time around I picked up the single electric so I can have a smaller portable pump option as well that works with the parts I already have.

I got the hygiea q last time because it's what la leche league recommends. It broke after like 5 weeks. I ordered medela this time around, but my sister also really liked her ameda.

@chshannon,  was it an S1/S2, because the one offered is an S9- so I am unsure of how it will perform to the other two hospital grade Spectras.
