Weird Movement?

Ok, this is hard to explain. Has anyone ever been able to see baby's breathing through your belly? The other day, I pushed near my hip because he was jabbing my hip bone. Next thing I know, my belly is rising and falling rapidly as if his chest was right there! Was this probably his breathing? It was really rapid, like 2 per second, and very consistent, too fast to be hiccups. I got a little worried since I've never seen that before! Has anyone else seen this???

Yep! Someone had posted about this a few weeks ago (I forget the title of the post) and there was actually a video attached that shows it. You can see it on YouTube, I think you just search "Baby Practice Breathing" or something like that....very neat!

There was a post about this a few weeks ago and they posted a video. Search the words practice breathing, it should come up. I've noticed it a few times too. Makes me happy little Man is getting ready for the real world! :-)

Yes it is amazing!!! We had an ultrasound the other day and got to watch his chest move for a couple of minutes.

Thanks ladies! I'm going to look for that. It really freaked me out at first! But now that I hear it's normal, I'm much more relieved.
