I have had diaherra (tmi sorry) tons of Braxton hicks and cramping for the last two weeks and I'm a cm dilated. Is this a normal thing for the rest of you ladies?

Yup. BH all freakin day today, 6-15 minutes apart. Finally slowing down. Mild runs too. 1cm dialated since Friday.

I should add that BH started at the same time for me last pregnancy as well, just before 37 weeks. It took my daughter 5 more weeks to finally come out though.
