We finally announced!

That is a very cute announcement.  We have a couple of threads up at the top of the page for things common to all of us such as how we announced our pregnancy, name discussions, and whether we are team pink (having a girl) blue ( having boys) or green (waiting to find out.)  It's best to "lurk" on these boards for a little bit and get a feel for the people on here and the kinds of questions that are typical.  I also strongly encourage you to use the search feature before asking questions.  Many times they've already been asked and answered and you will receive more information by joining the ongoing discussion than you would asking it again. 

Congratulations on your pregnancy and I hope you enjoy your time here in the forums.

If one of you would be so kind as to tell me how to delete my post, I'd be happy to. I was unaware of so many do's and don't's within the community. I was just so happy that I was excited share. I'm guessing that was not best idea. I've been a member since late March, I just haven't used the community feature prior to this.

There's no way to delete it, but what's your favorite burger topping?  If we turn this into a discussion of food all is forgiven.

I mentioned this earlier, but I'm dying for avocado, pineapple and red pepper jelly on a burger.  I can't decide if that should have cheese on it or not.

I had to look it up, but that sounds yummy.  I was toying with the idea of goat cheese.

UO: the only acceptable things to put on a burger are cheese, tomato, onion, and lettuce.
All this guacamole, bbq, and salsa business just makes me want to cry.

I've tried peanut butter on a burger before.  It's not awful, but it's not my style.  Switch the pb out for a fried egg though and I'm there.

@VexedMommy you need to hunt some down, lightly grill it and squeeze some lime in it. I'm a crazy meat girl, real carnivore, but you can replace the burger patty with hallumi and... Just wow. It's amazing!!!


I like to think I'm pretty liberal with food- but PB?!?! On a burger!!? I will try it before I knock it but that sounds strange!

Slightly off topic, but a woman I work with brought in the fixings for PB + Sweet pickle sandwiches on rye because she read about it in the NY Times. She made a special effort to invite me to try it because she thought it sounded like something I would like. I mean, I know pregnant ladies are crazy, but......really???  8-|

Best burger I've had recently at smash burger. Burger with Buffalo wing sauce and blue cheese. Sooo good. And yes I agree cheese is a must!!!
