Placenta Previa moms... who's still left?

I know a few of the ladies due in August with placenta previa have already delivered - congrats on your babies and I hope they are doing okay!! What were the circumstances that led to your birth - bleeding episodes? Were you already in the hospital or at home/elsewhere?

Just curious if anyone else still has a marginal/complete previa, and if you've had bleeding.

I am 34 weeks, 3 days today (due 8/20) and on my 6th day in the hospital due to bleeding - I had minor spotting last Tuesday so came in and was going to just stay 48 hours for monitoring, then had a bigger (but not that bad) bleed on Wednesday so that meant I'd be here a week. Nothing since, and no issues have come up at all with my fetal monitoring or anything else, so I might get to go home on Tuesday and wait it out. My c-section is scheduled for 36 weeks, 6 days on July 29th.

I have a low lying placenta and my c section is going to be scheduled somewhere between July 24th and 28th. I find out the exact date tomorrow. I haven't had any bleeding but my doctor put me off work...pelvic rest and I'm not allowed to do much!

@saresirene that's good that you haven't had any bleeding! I had none at all until last Tuesday - but I do still have a complete previa. So glad I was here for the bigger bleed but really would like to go home for the few remaining weeks of my pregnancy. I will be laying very low but it's still pretty scary to worry about another bleeding episode - glad we're only 15 minutes away from the hospital!

I had a previa...but mine actually moved up and out of the way at my 31 week ultrasound. ... I hope you ladies make it to your scheduled c section dates and hope all goes well for you!

We're setting a date for a csection Tuesday around the second or third week of August depending on if my placenta moved from marginal to just low laying. I have had no bleeding since before being pregnant. Excited to finally have an actual date to look forward to! Best of luck to you all!

I am 37w 1d and have complete placenta previa. Have been on modified bed rest since 28 weeks and my c-section is scheduled for this Friday (original due date Aug 1). I have been very fortunate and no bleeds!!! Best of luck to all you other previa moms!!!

I have a partial placenta previa with no bleed (yet).
I go in for a check up this Wednesday and an ultrasound on the 28th to determine a c section date.
I am still holding my breath it will move up, and I think my dr is too since all I know is they want me to have our baby girl between 36-37 weeks (second week in August). I'm not sure if that is because this is my second or the risks of waiting.
I had my first vaginally with no complications (except having to be induced at 41weeks).

I was on hospital bed rest at 28 weeks. I had woke up at 6 am with blood on my panty liner. It had stopped by 30 minutes & wasn't to crazy of a bleed. Then at 30 weeks I woke up at 8:00 am felt cramps & had a bleed that was bigger then the first one & lasted 4 hours. They almost delivered but then I stopped bleeding. one week later at 31 weeks around 8am I rolled over & felt a pop & then felt blood coming out & when I stood up a huge gush of blood filled my underwear and sleeping shorts and blood was all over the floor!! Scared the crap out of me & then had my baby a few hours later. So I was always sleeping before I Had a bleed!! Congrats to making it as far as you have & to all the other ladies. Here's to healthy mama's and babies during this time!

Well I've officially made it to 37 weeks! I have one more ultrasound today as my doctor wants to be 110% sure I need a c-section. If nothing has changed, our little Peanut will be born on July 28th. Either way, I am so excited to meet her

I got to come home from the hospital! No more bleeding at all, so just the minor bleed at 33 weeks, 5 days. Today I'm 34 weeks,4 days and I really hope to stay home for the next 15 days before my c-section!
