Baby cries after feeding

Does anyone's baby cry after feeding? Whether it's by bottle or breast she cries when we remove the nipple from her mouth until we give her a pacifier. She seems to have the desire to suck constantly. I worry that the pacifier might mask her hunger (9wpp) but was told if she's still hungry she would let us know and not take the pacifier. Anyone else experience this?

Some babies do have a very strong need to suck. By nine weeks surely a baby would signal hunger even if given a pacifier. That being said, my ds won't take a pacifier so I am not speaking from first hand experience. Anyone on the board had a two month old who would skip feedings if given a pacifier?

ETA What do you mean by remove the nipple? Unless ds is dead asleep, I wait for him to let go.

I unlatch her when she falls asleep. That's what I mean by remove the nipple.

I had supply issues pretty early and while baby would take a pacifier for a minute, he would soon realize there was no milk coming out of it and get back to the crying.  It was terrible.  I was feeding him every time he was crying with hunger (every 15-30 minutes during the day) for about 2 weeks until I finally gave in and started supplementing with formula.  He became a different baby...so much happier! 

If the pacifier works, I would guess she just feels a need to suck.  Hope that helps!

My 2 month old has been crying after his usual length feedings. I think it's just trial and error. Sometime he has gas, needs to burp, is still hungry or is tired and wants to suck. If he is still hungry he will not settle after being given pacifier or being burped. Still having typical amount of dirty and wet diapers. I'm going to mention to pediatrician just because I need reassurance it is ok.
