Baby moon ideas

My husband and I are looking for a beautiful, relaxing, possibly off the beaten path place to babymoon in Southern California. Any suggestions?

  • You could try renting a cabin in Joshua tree. It's the beautiful desert. Imagine sitting on your porch watching the sun go down and then staring up at the millions of stars in the sky.

If you're more into towns, I love San Luis Obispo. We stayed at the Sycamore mineral springs resort last time and it was so comfortable. Each bungalow has its own tub that you can fill with mineral water and just relax on your porch in private. It's slightly outside of SLO, so it's very quiet and among nature.

Ojai is also really cute if you want to have a spa getaway.
  • I second Ojai. SLO is nice too, especially staying at the Madonna Inn. San Diego has some nice spots on the coast like La Jolla and Encinitas. Palm Springs is also a fun place to visit although it's pretty hot right now. We like staying at the Ace Hotel. Santa Barbara is also really relaxing and has a nice downtown area.
