Hi all, My husband and I found an amazing woman to take care of our newborn once she arrives AND will work with our breaks (we're both teachers and have a lot of time off). She doesn't charge us for the breaks or summer. The only catch is that she doesn't claim on her taxes. I'm assuming this means we can't claim on ours, but I was wondering if the benefits of how much we'd be saving outweigh the ability to claim? Any input is welcomed! Thanks

If you're paying cash it will always be hard to claim. You need receipts that aren't handwritten or checks with something distinguishable in the memo section
