Got a fun surprise yesterday afternoon. Not one, but seemingly two thrombosed hemorrhoids. Anyone else have any advice for dealing with these lovely side effects?

What PP said, plus up your fibre and water intake. Try not to strain when having a BM and get regular exercise.

You can try a Squatty Potty (which you can find on Amazon). It puts you in a more natural position so there is less pressure when you have a BM. It's helped me a lot so far this pregnancy.

I had daily baths with honey and lavender when I had them. Worked wonders.

Believe it or not, sugar works wonders. Just get some regular white sugar and sprinkle it on or have DH do it. Somehow the sugar oxidizes the hemmroid and they shrink immediately. Trust me it works. Good luck!

No advice but I'm following because mine are awful. I feel like I'll never be the same again. Do these tend to go away eventually after baby comes?

I cannot tell you how much it amuses me that somewhere out there in the world a pregnant lady is having someone sprinkle her swollen butt hole with sugar. /:)
