Too bloated, can't sleep. Help!

This is my first pregnancy. Somtimes, the bloating is pretty bad it keeps me up at night. Any tips on how I can fall asleep (as Nyquil is out of the question)?

This is getting really annoying. I'm trying to have dinner earlier too, so I won't be too bloated when it comes to bedtime. But are there any tips to not get so bloated.

Any feedback appreciated!

    No NyQuil!

I'm a little confused about why being bloated is keeping you up...is your stomach hurting? Is it hard to sleep on your belly? Maybe think about eating smaller meals more frequently so that you can eat less right before bed?

  • Also, more water and maybe an evening walk? Movement should help!

  • Thanks, will give that a try. Stomach is not hurting; there's no pain. Just the bloated stomach makes it uncomfortable to fall asleep.
  • I am also super bloated, and having trouble sleeping because my stomach/back hurt. I found that a probiotic helped a lot.
