blanket or stuff animal in crib

Hi Ladies.

I have not posted in a while but I have been around since I found out I was expecting.  I am a FTM of a baby Girl who is 10 and a half months old.

Being a first time mom I followed the rules of nothing in the bed with baby. My question now is when can I put in a stuff animal or a blanket in her crib with her. At daycare she sleeps with a blanket but her teachers are close by.

Any advice would be awesome!!

I am not sure if its by the book but my LO is 10 1/2 months and he has his blanket, his wubbanub (paci with the little animal on it) and a glow worm type thing.  He does fine with all of it. He is also pulling himself up in his crib, sleeping on his belly with his butt in the air (awwwww - so cute!) and all that. So I think its ok.

My LO is the same age and sleeps with a blanket and has a stuffed animal. I feel he is very strong and aware of these objects. He is standing and moves alm over the crib. When he sleeps with us i do move pillows because those are large and heavy.

Our guy has been sleeping with his small, comfort blanket for several months now and does just fine. He actually doesn't seem that interested in it though, hah!

Ekneipp you have a horrible typo! Ekk

I think a small blanket is ok, like the ones with animal heads on them. I have a few toys in her crib in hopes she will entertain herself in the morning (she doesn't).

My son has slept with a blanket for a couple of months now but it's knitted with lots of holes.

Y'all have convinced me!!! My little one is moving all around too, so I guess it's safe to say we can include a blanket or stuff animal.

    Thanks ladies!!!!
