DS is Collin Michael. Top name right now for this baby is Benjamin, nn Ben or Benji. I'm not sure the name goes with Collin though. Other names on the list are Mason, Brody, Jack, Elliot. Any Suggestions?

Re: Boy name to go w Collin

  • I think Benjamin goes fine with Collin.

I also think it's a lot better then your other options.
  • Benjamin and Collin sound great together. I agree that the other names on your list are not as good.

  • We really want a strong boy name. I always think about a name that my son would be proud to have as an adult also. I'm thinking we might take off Brody. I love more classic names but they are usually the ones used most often.
  • I like Benjamin. What about Bennett? I like the sound of it with Collin more. Some people think that's a trendy name, but it was my great-grandfathers, so I consider it classic. Other suggestions: Grant, Isaac, Ian, Gabriel, Garrett

I think Benjamin works. I really like Jack as well, Collin and Jack are both great, strong names
  • I think Collin and Jack go well together, Benjamin works (but please no Benji - I like Ben and Jamie as nn). I like Brody too, but not quite as much. Collin sounds Irish to me - have you thought about other Irish-y names (Connor, Kieran, Declan, etc)?

I think they all go together nicely.
  • I think they go good together. I think all your choices are good though. I like Preston with Collin.
  • Benjamin is fine and a great name! I also like Elliot.

  • I like most of them. Brody is not a good name. For anybody.

Jack is actually my favourite. I've been a fan of that name for years. But Benjamin is a great name too. So is Elliot. Those are my top choices.
  • Thanks for all the input! We've crossed of Mason, Brody, and Jack. Now we're choosing between Benjamin, Elliot, and Owen.
  • In that case, definitely Benjamin. Then Elliot.
