pros and cons? dd loves the fp learning home so i was thinking the fp kitchen but it doesn't seem to provide a lot of counter space for kitchenware and i'm not sure how well it would grow w/her. i am leaning towards getting a more "full-size" kitchen.
thoughts?
thanks!
Re: pls recommend your play kitchen
DD got the Step2 Deluxe kitchen for Christmas and loves it (it's on step2.com). It doesn't have a ton of counter space (none of them do, to be honest) but it has 11 drawers plus fridge, dishwasher, microwave and oven for storage, plus a plate rack and a cubby. It is a huge kitchen and we're hoping it will last her for a long time. She plays with it every day and really understands that it's a kitchen - she cooks for us, etc.
It also has six feet of counter space.

DS has one of the basic Step 2 kitchens. He LOVES it and plays with it all the time!!! We were going to get him the walk-in kitchen by Step 2 because it was $240 at Sam's and came with a table and 2 chairs. I am so glad we didn't because it takes up so much more space and I know that having extra cabinets and more counter space would not have made any difference in the amount of time DS plays with it. I would have liked the table and chairs though, but for a lot less, we can get those too
The one we got has a stove that makes sounds and we bought fake food to go with it. It has just the right amount of features to keep him busy. I would recommend going into a store that has one out of the box and see how long it keeps her interest. Also, see what things about it she plays with most. GL, they are a ton of fun!!!
