Low hcg questions

I have a question? I had a chemical pregnancy in April and I am going through a miscarriage right now. The first time my hcg was 10 and the I lost it. This past time when they tested my hcg was 44. Have anyone ever gone throught something similar? What did your doctor do? Did they look into it at all? Did they tell you to do anything different the next time? I am having an appointment with my dr next Tuesday any questions I should ask?

I'm going through a similar situation @babbysweet2 I had a MC at 7 weeks in April. I found out a week ago that I'm pregnant but my hcg levels were only 41 yesterday. I'm going in for another blood draw tomorrow, but the doctor didn't sound confident and I'm fearing that this may be my second MC. If you learn anything I would appreciate your advice. Best of luck to you also. They confirmed my mc last Sunday and when they tested my blood last Wednesday it was 44. I would really like to keep in touch with because our stories sound very similar. I will keep you posted and let you know what I find out on Tuesday @Howardbae2015

I'm sorry for your loss. An update on my story, my levels began to rise but Wednesday they dropped to 70 and I'm expected to be 6 weeks. Doctors prescribed me Cytotec (I think that's what it's called) anyways I took my first dose last night. Long night of horrible cramping but nothing else, so I had to retake my second dosage today. I took it 3 hours ago and still nothing. I'm hoping to get this over with quickly. I still have hope and want to try again ASAP, parents and inlaws think DH and I should talk with a fertility specialist, so we may do that. Please keep in touch, T&P for you. I am in a similar situation as well first pregnancy never got beyond 38 however this one is doubling but they cannot find a baby sac or anything so possibly ectopic and they have told me to prepare myself not to have this baby either. My re says theres nothing to be done at this stage.
