I'm currently 18w, and have been wondering about my diet.
I don't consume a wide assortment of veggies, have never been a fan, and now being pregnant, I'm not really busting the doors to get more veggies.
I love fruits and eat an assortment of rainbow types (mangos, kiwi, watermelon, cantaloupe, cherries etc).
My main mid-day snacks have been fruit, with also some cheese/crackers, cucumbers, grape tomatoes.
As a side note: I consume a good majority organic, grass fed protein, and incorporate [as best as I can] a non-gmo diet.
My ultimate question is, is there such a thing as too much fruits in the diet? Will too much harm the baby? I've spoken with my midwife and she believes my diet is just fine.
I am reaching out to others to see if anyone else has experienced a similar scenario.
Thanks!
Re: Fruity diet
If your midwife says you're fine, believe her. Don't ask internet strangers who are not trained professionals.
