When should dissolvable stitches typically fall out?

I am 2 weeks 5 days PP and I just had one fall out; is it too early? I'm sure the doctor told me but I was a bit tired those first few days in hospital.

Mine never fell out that I am aware of. Pretty sure they just dissolved. The MW told me they'd dissolve in about 3 weeks so sounds like you're right on schedule.

I'm 3 weeks PP today and I know I've seen a couple fall out over the past week. My public health nurse had told me to expect that and unless you start bleeding heavily or notice puss, not to be concerned.

Mine haven't been painful, just super itchy! Really irritating!

I had 2 episiotomies and felt my stitches yesterday in the shower. I'm afraid to even look! They itch from time to time and I am wondering when they'll dissolve too.

I didn't see them fall but i stopedfeeling them there about 2 weeks later

Call your doctor if they fall out. Mine did and I had to have more put in. Better safe than sorry.
