Urgent advice needed, positive pregnancy test 2 weeks after D&C

i had a d&c or as the doctor said (surgical management of a miscarriage) on the 27th may after my 12 week scan on the 22nd may showed I Had had a missed miscarriage and baby had stopped growing at 10 1/2weeks.

I've had weird bleeding afterwards, a couple days after no bleeding at all until I had an extreme cramp that stopped me dead in my tracks and which must have triggered more bleeding because for a couple days after that I had a lot of bleeding.
It's been on and off, with red blood and brownish discharge in varying amounts. I'll go a couple of days with nothing and then a couple of days with a lot, rang midwife who still contacts me to see how I'm doing and she said it's perfectly normal.

upon discharge after my surgery (which was under a general atheistic) they gave me a couple stick pregnancy tests to take two weeks after, why is it so positive now? In two days it will be two weeks since the surgery, are my hormones taking longer than normal to drop? The nurse said it should be completely negative, anyone experienced this before? , please someone give me some advice it's so confusing!!!

i had a miscarriage on may 22, and i'm still getting very faint positive lines as of friday which would be two weeks. i tested this morning and it had no line and I've been feeling like my period is coming i had a very light amount of blood when i wiped and that was it so far, it could take a few weeks from what ive read from other posts for it to go down enough to have a negative test. i would just test weekly till you get a negative. hope that helped a little bit.

It may take a while for your levels to go down.  They never tested me, but 3 wks after I had some bleeding and they told me my hormones were dropping, but you can definitely still test positive 2wks after.  I agree that maybe testing weekly will help you to see a drop in your levels.

Also, it is in the guidelines to never post a pregnancy test on this board or the TTC boards, it is way to painful for the majority of us and didn't really add anything to your post by including the picture.  I just wanted to let you know so that it doesn't happen again.

Have deleted the picture, wasn't aware of this guideline, i understand it could be painful to see but just wanted to show how positive the test was didn't mean to offend anyone, it upset me and wanted to share it and ask for advice @bntfroggie

I had a positive pregnancy test a little under three weeks after my D&C and didn't get my period until 5 weeks 1 day after the procedure so that's completely normal to still be positive at two weeks after

I had a natural mc and was still testing positive. My doctor did blood work and my hcg levels r still up. I am waiting 4 the next blood work to come back. She said it can take a few months for the hcg levels to go down to 0. If you were farther along, that can increase the time (I was 12 weeks). If you are still testing pos at 4 weeks post mc I would call doc. To check your levels.
If you are currently bleeding, then you might have some leftover poc. Of you have a fever or cramping this can also indicate that. These are the things my doctor told me to look out for.
