Re: WTF...it's Wednesday

  • WTF people. needy grown up whiney adults at that.  Lord give me patience to make it through this work day without stabbing someone in the eye.  b-(
  • Loading the player...
  • WTF longest week at work EVER! When its busy its TOO BUSY but when its dead.... its really dead... I'm so bored I'm going to resort to eating whatever i have at my desk.
  • Wtf to my mom and siblings who think the baby should have my moms name as her middle name. She has a name already and yours is not included.
  • WTF L'oreal, why did you have to go and discontinue Youth Code BB Cream? Now I'm going to have to find a replacement!

Seriously this stuff is my secret to looking halfway decent in less that 10 minutes, which is essential when you have a toddler who magically needs something the second you start putting makeup on, (despite being content the second before!).

Whaaaaat?! L'oreal discontinued their BB cream?! Noooooo. Their BB Cream is my favorite! This makes me sad. :(

  • @mamaowl15, my mascara was discontinued this last winter, and I was horribly annoyed. I was also probably the only one still using that one, so maybe they just forced me into the uncomfortable space I call change :)

WTF placenta previa?! I just found out yesterday that if I still have it closer to delivery, I'll be scheduled for my c-section at 37 weeks! Ahhh! They want to avoid labor/possible rupture, but I am sooo not prepared to have a baby in 15 weeks! My placenta previa is still complete as of my A/S last Thursday. Boo.

@aah1013 i feel your frusteration,i am in the same boat...after 3 vaginal deliveries i just assumed this would be vaginal as well. The news of P.P blindsided me, i feel like my hands are tied, nothing i can do about it at all....so frusterating! Just playing the wait n see game till the 30 week ultrasound. :/
  • @nsaid4u, sorry that you are in the same boat. Hopefully things will work out in your favor. I'll be having a c-section either way, but it's the delivering so early that's really getting to me. Praying it will be a non-issue.

They have a couple other varieties other than Youth Code. There's one from their "mature skin" line, and then there's one in the cosmetics section, which comes in a MUCH smaller tube for the same price.

I used Garnier before, so I might go back to that, but L'Oreal was my favorite!

If Cover Girl stops making Clump Crusher, I will cry. I'll also stalk every drugstore and Ulta until I have a stockpile (as soon as it goes on clearance).

  • Forget WTF to a cosmetics company for discontinuing my favorite product . . . Right now I'm going WTF humanity?

What's up with all the hate for each other? I happened on this lecture on YouTube that started playing after what I was watching before, and I was doing other stuff so I just let it play. This dude is talking about melanin, making all sorts of unscientific claims which he's using to back up his hatred toward European/Caucasian people. What he's saying is absurd, like that antidepressants will "destroy your melanin" and make you less intelligent, etc. Oh and supposedly white people have "melanin conferences" every couple decades or so. And white people are all incestuous pedophiles according to this guy. I mean, I'm not trying to say my race doesn't have a tarnished history but this lecturer is off the deep end. Anyway . . .

Then I got on Facebook and ran across an article about the Arthur Ashe Courage award . . . Caitlyn Jenner has apparently been nominated or given the award, I wasn't quite clear, but anyway the comments are all full of hate. People saying "BRUCE Jenner is no hero," etc. Ugh. Maybe someone else was more deserving, but whatever. What's with the hate?

Then I scrolled down and saw a heartbreaking picture of a little baby girl who'd been abandoned in the woods and was found being eaten by ants.

    I just can't . . .

  • My colleagues made last minute plans to go to a baseball game last night and didn't invite me. It's true the game started at the same time I've been going to sleep, so I would have had to decline, but no invite?? WTF - I'm pregnant, not deaf.
  • @MamaOwl15, I gleefully live in a Disney Junior bubble. I had to make the decision one day that I would honestly be happier being completely ignorant. I never ever turn on the news. I'm honestly sooo much happier. I keep my mind sharp with medical journals and select news that I see pop up in my fb news feed. Stories like you posted are the types that would normally really upset me for an entire day. I had to put myself in a bubble and I'm much happier now.

I've had to step away from Facebook because of the ignorance lately. It's seriously killing my typically positive outlook. And it was a hoax as far as the Arthur Ashe award...but man did it bring out the hate.

I'm listening to positive podcasts today or teen pop radio on Pandora and shutting out the world.
  • WTF neighbor having his own kareoke/sob fest at 1am and waking up my kids because it's outside their window- mind you it was to the same song for an hr!!!
