Miscarriage/Pregnancy Loss

What do ya'll make of this?!

I had a chemical pregnancy in April (found out I was pregnant on the 11th and miscarriage on the 18th) I was supposed to start my period on May 18th - I am 16 days late now....I took a pregnancy test on the first day of my expected cycle on may 18th and it was negative. I've talked to quite a few people about being late after a chemical pregnancy and they said it was normal so I decided my hormones are out of wack and nothing more to it - so sunday I started spotting after I had sex - it was light pink for a few wipes and then after that it went away sunday night and yesterday I only had a tiny bit of brown when I wiped and not it's completely nothing. Do yall think this is my period starting or should I just stop worrying about it until I see the dr. on the 9th?

  • After a miscarriage your body is not the same as it was before. It took 5 weeks for my AF to arrive after my MC. I think it was may have been your AF or it could jsut be some leftover spotting from the MC.

  • I would note your dates to discuss with the doctor at your appointment, but not worry overly much. After a m/c it generally takes most bodies time to either return to normal or to define a new normal. Do make sure you follow your doctors directions as to the length of time to wait before you place anything in the vagina; sex, tampon use, or otherwise.

  • I'm in a similar situation ( positive pregnancy test 04/06, miscarriage on 04/14) and still no period. 2 negative pregnancy tests so I contacted my doctor today. She said it could take 3 months for my cycles to regulate again and if I didn't start by next month to come in and see her. Hope this helps.
