Help with gender reveal to father!

Hi everyone! I'm 16 wks and I will be finding out the gender Friday. My fathers birthday is also Friday. So I wanted to do a cute surprise for his birthday to announce if its a boy or girl but can't seem to get my creative juices flowing. Any ideas!? Thanks

Maybe have his birthday cake be blue or pink under the icing..If he's not a cake person maybe have his favorite dessert in blue or pink..just a starter idea to get things rolling..

Get a onesie that says gradaddys princess ot granddaddy little man/little slugger (if he is a baseball fan. Etc. To help out a little what's your dad into.

My first thought is to think about his personality.  Would he want to make his birthday about his grand child or does he like to have a day that's all about him?  If it's at a party or something the child's sex will probably be the focus of the party instead of your dad.

I don't want to make his whole birthday about the baby! But I figured it'd be cute to do a cute little gift or something for it!

I get that it's not your intent and I didn't mean to imply it was.  It might end up that way if you announce it to your dad in a party setting.  Just something to be aware of when you're deciding what you'd like to do. 

It could be cute to get him a card from the baby signed something like happy birthday grandpa from your grandson/daugther or with the baby's name if you guys have already decided.

If it's just you and your immediate family I think a cute little onsie would be sweet. If it's a big party Id maybe rethink announcing that way. Could be hijacked into a reveal party.
