14 Weeks Today!!

After 6 years of struggling with infertility due to PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome) I am finally 14 weeks today with my first pregnancy! I have my second doctors appointment today and I hope and pray everything looks as good as it did at my 10 week appointment. Honesty, I have been holding my breath since I got my first positive pregnancy test because I know that miscarriages are common with PCOS, but thankfully I've had no bleeding or cramping up to this point. I know that we are never "out of the woods" and a healthy pregnancy doesn't always mean a healthy baby but I feel blessed to have made it this far.

Note: My thoughts and prayers are with every single woman who has ever lost a pregnancy or a baby. I have never personally experienced the loss of a child (born or unborn) and I can't imagine what it is like. I pray every woman has a chance to experience motherhood.
