17 week weight gain

I am pregnant with our 2nd child, first is 6, and I feel like I have already gained too much weight. I've gained 12 pounds so far and my belly seriously already looks very large. Has anyone else had this problem with showing way faster with their 2nd? It would just be nice to know I'm not alone. I know its all worth it in the end, it just has me feeling very self conscious right now. Thanks y'all!

Hi! You'd probably have more luck in your own birth month group as there would be a lot of mums at the same stage as you, plus a lot of people dislike talking about weight gain on here.

I've only had one so i can't compare a second, but from what friends and family have told me a few of them have shown more with their second but not necessarily gained more. If you are worried you could as your GP what's the norm i guess?
