First appointment tomorrow

I'm a little nervous

I've heard there will be blood tests, Pap smears.
I'm hoping for an ultrasound to ease some concern as I have had some light spotting the past few days.
What else is done at the first appointment?
What should I bring?

I'm going alone- which makes me a little nervous, but I'm sure I'll manage.

This differs from doctor to doctor or midwife.

I had a blood test, peed in a cup, met with a Nurse to go over lots and lots of information. They weighed me.

The first appt with my OB: we did a ultrasound to see if there was a heart beat and she went over general stuff.

I went to 95% of my appointments alone. Don't worry!

My OB has me come in between 8-9 weeks for the first appointment. Pap is only done if it hasn't been done in the last year. I pee in a cup to confirm pregnancy, get a weight, ask about symptoms and if I have had any bleeding and answer any questions I have (this is my 3rd, so no real questions). My OB does not do 1st trimester ultrasound unless there is a concern. All said it is usually a 5-10 minute appointment
