First Trimester Ultrasounds Sharing Time

Hey ladies,

I LOVE seeing all your ultrasounds, but sometimes I miss them and have to search around to see them. Babies! So, with the pregnancy board I was in for first kid in 2009 we had threads to share ultrasounds (and bellies) for each trimester. What do you guys think about posting those little babies here?

I know a bunch of you have to wait a bit for your u/s, but there's a few that have already had an u/s and are getting them soon (mine is on Thursday). So, share your first trimester ultrasounds below! Can't wait to see those babies grow.

Great idea. 5w5d. Saw a heartbeat but could not hear it. Will go back for my next one at almost 8 weeks. It is sideways, I don't know how to turn it

This is mine. It wasn't scheduled or planned but I was having pains and decided to get checked out because I'm a worry wart. It's an abdominal US and I was only 6 weeks. I can't see where the baby is in the sac but the dr didn't seem worried. I can't wait till I get my real one and get to actually see my baby!

Had mine last Tuesday to date the pregnancy. We thought we were barely 4w along (wacko cycle and too many negative tests!) but then we were 6w0d and could see a tiny flicker of heartbeat!!

Our little speck at exactly 6 weeks. We saw a heart beat but didn't get a BPM or anything yet. Back again at 7.5 weeks for another peek this week due to some risk factors I have.

We got bored at work last week and used our nerve-block ultrasound to look at baby at 5w3d. We go on Wednesday for a "more legit" TV one at the dr.'s office.

Measuring 5w5d but based off my LMP I thought I was 7w5d. Going back in 2 weeks to recheck everything. Saw a flicker of a heartbeat and was able to calculate BPM. Really nervous since measurements don't match LMP. Just want everything to be ok!!

I was so relieved to see my blueberry on Friday! We saw a heartbeat and now I don't go back for 4 weeks. By lmp I was 7 weeks but the embryo measured 6w5d.

My doctor doesn't want me come in until June 1st. I will be 8 weeks then unless I am further along than I think. The wait is killing me

Can't get my pic to load.. but I'm 6 weeks 2 days.. measurments put me right on track!. My little one had a heart rate but it was slow about 80 and they are worried about the yolk sac being so big... we get another ultrasound in 2 weeks so may 29.. would love if everyone would keep my little one in thoughts and prayers!

Hi everyone! It's a really long post! I am a mother of a seven-year-old little girl. We were told that we wouldn't be able to conceive without fertility drugs. But my husband and I had prayed about it and we became pregnant with our seven-year-old almost immediately. we started trying again when she was three years old with no luck on her own. October 2013 I went to a fertility specialist. I told myself we had one year to try to conceive before we went to someone else who is known nationally for their success with fertility and is also super expensive. In January 2015 we still hadn't conceived and I had just been to my OB/GYN...February 5 I got a period on my own (very rare) and I wanted to try one more time with Clomid. They told me that was fine but that after our round of Clomid that I needed to go and see the fertility specialist...the expensive one. I agreed that I would. So I took the Clomid the ovulation kit and took my temperature...I ovulated the end of February but no baby.... I had an appointment set up in March with the specialist. Two weeks before my appointment I canceled it and set it up for April. When April came I canceled it and set it up for May 11th. It is a 2 Hour Drive from where I live and I had already prepared my husband and myself that we were going to go. On March 6 I had contacted my mom because I was so overwhelmed with grief of not being able to conceive and the heartache of seeing everyone it seemed like on Facebook posting that they were pregnant. I asked for her to pray for me for comfort and for understanding and that I was perfect no matter what...May 8th my friend gave me her fertility pills and her last pregnancy test because she was done trying. It was one of those tests.... the clear blue one...that tells you if you were 1-2weeks 2-3weeks or 3+ weeks...for some odd unknown reason I decided to take that pregnancy test on May 11 before we left to see the specialist. I'm not even five seconds into brushing my teeth and it's flashing pregnant. I waited three full minutes to make sure that it was real and when I was finished it read that I was pregnant 3+ weeks. My OB/GYN made me go down to the specialist anyway so that they could do a ultrasound of the baby and measure it and everything else because they couldn't get me in until the next week and she (Dr.) knew I was crazy anxious. When we got there (expensive specialist) told me how unlikely it was that I was pregnant being that I didn't have it a period. And it was probably a chemical in balance in my body or that it was in one of my tubes....We went into the exam room and she did the ultrasound and she gasped...she saw the baby and it was perfect... She told me she didn't know how I was able to conceive being that I didn't have a menstrual cycle. In my mind I had been 12+ weeks because I had my period in February but in fact I conceived in April with no period... Which is exactly how it happened with our daughter. By my calculations and how the baby had measured I'm due January 7th. She told us that I was 5.5-6 weeks along... We are beyond excited. And I am so happy I get to share this experience with so many of you ladies who are as excited about your baby is I'm excited about mine! We were able to get a sonogram picture so it's the first picture of Baby VanBuren (our last name). We are waiting to find out what the gender is before we discuss names. CANT wait for that day!

Here are my twins (we just found out today!) at 6 weeks 4 days. Wasn't supposed to get my first ultrasound til I was around 9 weeks and I called this morning after spotting this weekend and they got me in today. Surprise!! 2 babies instead of 1

@ChelseyBels: twins do not run in my family. However we did find out that the likelihood of having identical twins is not hereditary...it is completely random. Only fraternal twins are hereditary.

Ok, I am trying not to freak out. Just had our first ultrasound and found out we're having twins. I am over the moon excited that after a struggle with infertility we were lucky enough to get pregnant not with one but with two! But I am also panicking about all of the risks involved. Doc said size and heartbeats were good for how early I am (6w3d) but counseled us about the chances of a miscarriage. Said there's just as good of a chance of the pregnancy ending in one baby as there is of it ending in two. My husband and I decided not to share our news with anyone until we know more (though if he had it his way he wouldn't tell anyone until I delivered!) but I am horrible at keeping secrets and so decided to tell all of you strangers!!! I see there are a few others pregnant with twins so if anyone has any advice on how to handle this curveball I am all ears!
