Just thought I share my happy moment, I will be 15 weeks tomorrow, and I heard my baby's heartbeat for the first time yesterday...I'm so emotional, I cry everytime I listen to it. Lol but its music to my ears.

Baby's heartrate was in the 140s, anyone else hear about the myths of the heartbeat having anything to do with gender??

congrats!  to me that was the best thing in the world to hear that heartbeat.  I've always heard 140s and below says it's a boy.  160's and 170's indicate a girl.  But then again, you never know because I have heard that isn't always true.  Now my munchkin has a 168-170 each time we've gone and yet everyone swears it's a boy (we're still too early to tell via u/s but had the maternit21 done Wednesday and are just waiting to hear the results)

Mine is always in the 160's, just found out it's a boy!

Yeah, they say lower is a boy. Ours has been between 165 and 175. However, the doctor doing my NT scan said she is 85% sure this little one is a boy. So we will see, but it doesn't seem to be accurate for our baby.

This baby has been 150's-160's each time, and it's a boy!

Heartbeat was 162 at 11 weeks
Today was 159 and I'm at 12w2d
Ultrasound tech told us it was a boy today! Though it's still early to be 100% she said she is pretty sure it's a boy (or a baby with a tail!)
