Thankful Thursday

Someone posted in the unpopular opinion page that we could all use a little uplifting. I agree. So ladies, what are you thankful for on his Thursday afternoon?

I'm thankful for all 26 of my wonderful pets and furry friends. Could not imagine my life without them. Just enjoyed a nice walk with the big dog and had a wonderful time brushing my donkey.

  • I'm thankful that soon the weather will be better here and I can get outside and plant some flowers! I need outside!!
  • I'm thankful for my husband who works so hard so I can be a stay at home mom And cares for me very very deeply. I had a terrible ex husband and I feel extra appreciative having someone as great as my husband now:)
  • I'm thankful there is a tv & dvd player in my bedroom, and DD is old enough that we can cuddle and watch a movie, and if I fall asleep, I know she won't go anywhere. A new baby is going to be a big change.

Great idea for a thread! We could definitely use some positivity :)

I'm so thankful for my husband. Yeah he has his annoying moments, but oh gosh does he come through when I need him! Such an amazing man, full of love, and never complains about me not having energy to do much around the house. He's such a hard worker and takes amazing care of us, I'm just so darn lucky to have him.  :x

This is me too, exactly! <3<3<3
  • Thankful the long weekend is almost upon us! Looking forward to a weekend away from cell service with friends hanging out in the mountains. A good weekend of riding, camp fires and virgin ceasers! Thankful to have such a handy hubby who was able to craft up a exhaust manifold when the one we ordered didn't come in so we can ride. Pretty thankful for everything we have going on right now. There is a lot of good surrounding us!

  • I too am very thankful for my DH. He's a SAHD to our 2 year old DD and awesome at it!! He left his job to be home with her when I returned to work when DD turned 1. He takes care of everything at home and tells me that I just need to concentrate on "family time" when I get home. It's a great relief for me to know that I can go to work and go about my stressful day and not worry about how DD is doing, because I know she is in great hands and she and DH have developed such a wonderful bond with each other! Rockstar Hubby.

(I am also thankful for crisp, juicy watermelon on a nice sunny day) :P

I'm thankful for Claritin and my asthma inhaler. This pollen season has made my 2nd trimester as bad as the first. No 2nd tri "energy burst" over here.
  • I am thankful for the rain we are currently getting in California (even if it is a small amount)! As a wife whose husband is in agriculture...we need it!

I am also thankful for an incredible support system. They have been putting up with my hormonal self with a smile on their faces :)
  • I am also thankful for my wonderful family ! My husband isn't perfect but he's such a genuine good person who has a huge heart. I'd be so lost without him. My parents who always support me even after millions of mistakes. my sisters who at a drop of a hat will do anything to help me with my daughter (when my husband travels for work especially). They are truly my bf'sf!! Of course my biggest blessing my daughter who teaches me so much about life daily . how to appreciate the time w her because it truly does fly and to enjoy the small things in life . & now this little person in my belly will multiply this pure and unconditional type of love. I'm so excited !!! :\">
  • I love my husband too, hes amazing!

But today I have to say I am thankful for good bosses who understand how hard being pregnant can be. They don't complain when I come in late because of morning sickness or have to miss work because whatever else is wrong. Seriously, it's a blessing.

  • I am so thankful for my husband. This is out second child and I feel like he really understands me this time around. He's been especially curious about my psychological state since having to come off my antidepressant for the remainder of this pregnancy. He helps so much and has even prepared our dinners the last few nights without being asked to help. It's such a 180 and I love it.

I am also thankful for Old Navy. Maternity business slacks at the last minute? No problem.

  • I am thankful to feel baby moving! It's not always consistent and not super strong yet but two days a go I got to feel and see baby move in my belly and it was so amazing! I always worry so much during pregnancy it's reassuring to feel little one rolling and poking and moving!

I love this! I am so thankful for my husband! We are taking Bradley Method classes and I love that he is right there with me interested in it all! He has my back no matter what crazy thing I do (and even tells people my mood swings aren't bad!)

I'm also thankful for my sweet dogs who follow me around all day and are just loving and adorable!
  • I am so thankful to be happily employed in a district where the big student issues for us are small beans in other districts. I am happy to be employed for many reasons, but mostly because I am doing something I love. We interview teachers for our open positions and I can feel their anxiety and the tension that comes with job hunting, and I feel for them. I wish we could hire all of the qualified, passionate teachers out there because I want them to be able to work with students and experience what I do each day.

I am also thankful for my rockstar husband, amazing daughter, above-average dog (she chewed up some of my paperwork today-so we're on less-than-perfect terms), and a super supportive extended family. Speaking of those people, DD and DH just walked in the door from doing our grocery shopping :):) Nothing makes me happier than hearing that little voice pipe up in the entryway!

  • I am so thankful my kids are awesome. Like amazingly awesome, and I'm not biased at all. We work very hard parenting them and it has totally been paying off. Yes of course there are days when they are slightly less awesome, but they are few.

They are compassionate, kind and (mostly) well mannered and I couldn't be prouder.
  • Thankful for DH, my LO who is 17 weeks today, my job, and all of you!  I can't tell you how many times I have been worried about a new symptom and someone else already posted exactly what I needed to hear.  You guys rock.

  • I'm thankful that my husband has been getting plenty of work (including high-paying commission jobs) lately. He works for a moving company, and the hours can be sporadic, and it gets pretty slow in the winter. But things are picking up and that helps our finances tremendously!

I'm thankful that my son gets to celebrate his 2nd birthday at his Nana's house, which means a weekend of getting to run around outside in their backyard, play with the dogs, get doted on by his aunts and give mom and dad a break too!

I'm thankful to be almost 20 weeks pregnant with a baby who so far is healthy and active! Despite an anterior placenta, I still get to feel those reassuring kicks.

And I'm thankful that, when my car was rear-ended on the way home from church this past Sunday, no one and nothing was hurt, except the back bumper of the car. But repairs will be covered by insurance since I wasn't at fault.

I'm so thankful to be pregnant. I have pcos so we struggle with infertility. It took years to get pregnant with DD, and 33 months and countless doctors appointments and meds and needles to get pregnant with this little one. I feel so happy and blessed that DH andiI can expand our family finally!

This!! I also have pcos, we struggled with infertility and treatments, DH and I were in a terrible car accident in August and my dog passed away in January. Its been a very tough year for us but gosh do i love my husband! We're finally pregnant and I'm so grateful to be 18 weeks!! I love this baby and DH more than life and so grateful to be able to expand our family!

I am just so happy to have a chance at having one beautiful child. It has been a bumpy road to get here and I am so incredibly thankful that we got this far. DH and I are so happy and more in love than ever - it has made us closer in ways we would not gave otherwise known. We are so excited for 10/14! Can't wait to meet this little one. I live a good life and I could not ask for anything more.
